The villa stands on the northern tip of Koh Samui, high above Tongson Bay — one of the few places on the island where a single house sees both the sunrise and the sunset. In the morning the sun comes up out of the gulf right in front of the terrace; in the evening it drops behind the hills of Choeng Mon. That is the whole character of the house: it was built to live with this view, not to glance at it now and then.

The residence was completed in 2015 and was conceived from the start for large family gatherings. Nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms comfortably take up to twenty guests — three generations can come together under one roof and never once collide in a corridor.

The ground floor is open: the kitchen, the dining room and the sea-facing terraces make one shared space, and the long table seats everyone at once. The chef cooks for the whole party, and the staff keep the house in order calmly and unobtrusively.

Every age has its own life here. The children divide their day between the lawn and the pool. The adults get the gym and the sauna in the morning, the bar and the cinema room after sunset, when the house grows quiet.
