A Thai architect drew this house, and it shows in one glance: a pitch-roofed pavilion framed in glass, sitting on the hillside of a private estate near Kamala Beach with the Andaman stretched across its windows. The traditional roofline and the modern transparency were made to argue — and instead they agree.

The main pavilion holds living, dining and the kitchen under one high roof, with glass on all sides pulling the horizon indoors; the saltwater marble pool lies along the terrace, and private balconies give each bedroom its own slice of the view. The jungle behind the house supplies the evening sound.
